Oscillators

A resonator is an electrical component that generates vibration. There are crystal resonators and oscillators (ceramic, SAW). A crystal resonator is a type of passive element that generates vibration at a specific frequency by the piezoelectric effect of crystal. In addition to being used as a control element of a crystal oscillator, it is widely used in electronic engineering fields such as wireless communication. Resonators (ceramics, SAWs) are also electronic components that generate vibration at a specific frequency. The ceramic type uses a piezoelectric ceramic mainly composed of lead zirconate titanate, and is characterized by being smaller than a crystal resonator. The SAW type is a resonator that uses SAW (surface acoustic wave), and a piezoelectric material such as quartz or lithium tantalate is used as an elastic body.
