Frequently asked question (FAQ)

Question: How do I select the size?
Answer: As the number of uses increases, the capacity will decrease due to decreasing internal hydraulic fluid and wear/deterioration of the internal parts. Therefore, select a size with 30% or more margin on the maximum absorption energy. As well, if the energy used is less than 5% of the maximum absorption energy, select a part number one class lower.
Question: What is the mounting method?
Answer: Please mount within the allowable deflection angle. If the angle is exceeded, wear on the interior bearings will lead to rapid oil leaks. For rotating collision the allowable deflection angle is one side 5° or less; for linear collision it is 3° or less.
