A collet holder is a tool that is attached to a spindle such as a milling machine or a machining center, and strongly tightens a collet that holds an end mill or drill. There are various types of collet holders, but since they are general purpose, they can be used by selecting a spindle specification that matches the machine tool. The collet holder can be used to tighten tools of various diameters by using collets.
