Note 1: The actual product length (number of pieces) is an integer multiple of the pitch. Any remainder is rounded.
Example 1: For an order length of 2000 mm and a pitch of 25.4 mm, the actual number of pieces is 2000/25.4≈79 pieces, and the actual length is 2006.6 mm.
Example 2: For an order length of 3000 mm and a pitch of 25.4 mm, the actual number of pieces is 3000/25.4≈118 pieces, and the actual length is 2997.2 mm.
Note 2: The W width is formed by joining multiple pieces together. For example, W350 is assembled from three pieces: 120 mm+50 mm+180 mm.

Frequently asked question (FAQ)

Question: What should I do if the plastic modular belt starts to run off track during use?
Answer: Check whether the support rails are level and the sprocket alignment is correct. Plastic modular belts are usually guided by sprocket teeth. If the retaining ring shifts or the bracket is misaligned, it can cause uneven force distribution.
Question: How can I determine if the plastic modular belt needs to be replaced or tightened?
Answer: Observe the sag (deflection) at the bottom. If the pitch is elongated due to wear, causing poor engagement or even skipping between the plastic modular belt and the sprocket, you should remove some links to shorten the belt or replace it directly.
Question: Why does the plastic modular belt break during operation?
Answer: This is mostly caused by overloading or the ambient temperature exceeding the material limits (such as POM or PP). In addition, if a hard object gets stuck in the flat mesh opening, it can also cause excessive instantaneous tension and result in breakage.
