Plastic Sprocket for Modular Belt 2400

Part Number

Configured Part Number is shown.

Product Overview
The 2400 series sprocket is an engineering plastic injection-molded sprocket specifically designed to match the 2400 series modular belt with a 25.4 mm pitch. It is integrally injection-molded from food-grade polymer material and meshes precisely with the belt hinges. It is mainly used for driving, reversing, and tensioning positions in modular belt conveyors, and is widely applied in lightweight and hygienic conveying equipment for food, beverage, baking, pharmaceuticals, and small package industries.

Frequently asked question (FAQ)

Question: Sprocket tooth profile wears out too quickly, causing skipped teeth or the chain catching on the belt?
Answer: This is often due to excessive tension or the presence of abrasives in the environment (such as sand or debris). Injection-molded materials are relatively soft, so once worn, the meshing accuracy will decrease. Solution: Regularly check the tension of the chain belt and clean any residual foreign objects between the sprocket teeth.
Question: Has the sprocket shifted axially on the shaft?
Answer: The 2400 series mesh belt is relatively lightweight and thin, so the sprocket tends to slide axially when subjected to lateral force. Solution: Fixed rings (retaining rings) must be installed on the sides of the sprockets at both ends of the drive shaft, while the sprockets in the middle should remain floating to absorb thermal expansion and contraction.
