Frequently asked question (FAQ)

Question: Why is there severe wear on the side of the sprocket?
Answer: The fixed position of the sprocket on the shaft has shifted, causing the chain plate to run off-center and resulting in continuous friction on the side.
Question: What should I do if operation is not smooth in high or low temperature environments?
Answer: Plastic materials have a high coefficient of expansion, so sufficient axial clearance must be left; otherwise, thermal expansion and compression of the sprocket will hinder rotation.
Question: If the number of sprocket teeth is the same, why does the chain plate not pass over the teeth smoothly?
Answer: The tooth profile curves of 820 sprockets produced by different manufacturers may vary slightly. Mixing them can cause meshing interference, so the pitch parameters must be checked.
